Hello, hello and welcome.
We are live from the Glamour Women of the Year red carpet.
It's your girl, Brookes Nader.
And this is my gorgeous sister Grace Ann.
Thanks Brooks.
Every single person walking this carpet
is giving me a major moment
and this year's honorees are truly incredible women.
Demi Moore, Tyla, Rachel Zegler,
Pat McGrath, Ms. Rachel,
and some of the top players in the WNBA.
Tonight is all about celebrating sisterhood
and I cannot think of anyone I would rather do it with
than my very own.
Aw. So don't go anywhere.
This is gonna be such a fun night
and it's just getting started.
Speaking of epic, by the way,
we are here with writer, producer, showrunner
on all of our favorite shows, Jenny Han
and actress and activist, Piper Perabo.
What's up guys?
Hi, you guys look amazing.
You guys look gorgeous.
Thank you.
How are you guys tonight?
We're having fun.
So far, so good.
I mean, okay, first of all,
I need to know about these looks.
Can we each describe who-
My dress.
What? Wow.
That is iconic.
I threw it on.
Oh my God, that's so special.
This Emilia Wickstead.
Stunning. We're obsessed with it.
Jenny, you wrote The Summer I Turned Pretty
XO, Kitty, To All the Boys I've Loved Before.
Where do the ideas come from?
My heart. [laughing]
I love that.
Thank you.
Alright, well The Summer I Turned Pretty
is such a massive hit.
Are you team Conrad or team Jeremiah?
I am team Belly.
I am Team Summer. I love that.
I am team cousins.
[Brooks] I love that.
Love that. Piper, you've been busy
getting out the vote.
Why is it important to participate?
With all that's going on in the nation right now,
I feel it's more important than ever
for everyone to raise their voice
and make sure they're participating
civically and in their community.
Amen to that.
Jenny, you worked with 2013 Glamour of the Year Malala
on her new memoir.
Tell us all about that connection.
She is a friend. Now we are friends.
She's very lovely.
She asked me to do an event with her in New York.
We kicked off her tour
and her book is wonderful
and she's now, I think she's in the UK touring.
So tonight is all about sisterhoods.
Tell us who is in each of your sisterhoods.
I feel like Jenny is.
[Grace Ann laughing]
We met actually, doing activism.
Yeah. And fundraising.
Yeah. Years ago.
To get out the vote
and fundraising for candidates that we believe in.
[Brooks] That is such a great bonding moment.
That's amazing. We cannot wait
to see you guys rock the red carpet, the wedding dress.
This is such an iconic moment.
You guys look fantastic. You guys look stunning.
Have so much fun tonight.
Have so much fun.
And here we are with Ms. Rachel.
Ms. Rachel, congrats.
Can we call you Ms. Rachel?
You can call me Rachel, Rache, Rachie.
Ms. Rachel. I love it.
I'm so happy to be here with you.
Okay. So how did we get a mom of two little kids
out on a Tuesday night in New York City?
Well, the theme is sisterhood
and my big sister is with my kids.
Thank you Rebecca.
And thank you Uncle Rob.
And yeah, so I'm really lucky to have my big sister.
Big sisters are where it's at, right, Gracie?
Yes they are.
We've been talking a lot about sisterhood tonight.
How do you define sisterhood?
I think of sisterhood as our shared humanity.
And I really think a lot about other mothers
such as mothers in Sudan right now, or Gaza or the Congo,
and my heart's with them tonight.
I'm thinking about all the little ones there
and what we can do for them.
Wow. So true, Ms. Rachel.
And clearly this dress is very special.
What a moment. Can you please tell us
about this dress?
[Grace Ann] It's absolutely Stunning.
Can we see the back?
Can you give us a spin? Wow.
[Ms. Rachel] I'd love to.
[Brooks] Oh my God, it's stunning.
And we need to know the messaging behind this.
This is artwork from little ones in Gaza
and I have all their pictures right here.
I love you guys so much. I'm so proud of you.
You're so amazing. And their artwork is so beautiful.
This is by Luna, this is by Anne, this is by Ahmed.
And I'm just so proud to wear their work
and I'm carrying their stories in my heart
and I'm carrying them with me
and they all know about the dress and they're excited.
Hi guys.
[Brooks] Amazing. Ms. Rachel loves you.
Aw, that's so special.
Is there one final message
that you would like to share with the world
as a Glamour Woman of the Year?
Well, I just encourage everyone to use their voice
to speak out for little ones around the world in need,
'cause when we take wonderful care
of all of our little ones,
it's the right thing to do
and it benefits all of us.
And just thank you all so much.
You guys are so lovely.
[Brooks] So special, Ms. Rachel.
Thank you so much. Thank you for joining us.
I cannot wait to see this beauty on the red carpet.
Yes. This deserves a major moment.
Gorgeous. Gorgeous.
You look stunning. Have so much fun.
And now, from the morning show,
we have actress Karen Pittman.
Wow.
This is major. Where's your waist?
You left it at home.
Someone call the police. Unbelievable.
Your waste is missing.
I'm such a fan of you guys.
Grace Ann, Brooks, right?
Yes! We're fans of yours.
Oh my God.
You're here. We're here.
We made it to Glamour Women of the Year.
We made it.
And speaking of us being here,
we have to ask, there's so much drama going on right now
with The Morning Show this year.
Can you tell us what's going on with your character?
Oh yeah. Mia is like kind of social vigilante.
Like she's coming in there and she's changing things.
She's doing it.
She's wrecking the whole spot up
and all the women and all the guys
have to really respond to her this season.
We spent three seasons, you know,
kind of building up the story around her,
just sort of taking it on the chin.
But this season she does not.
She wears a red dress.
Yes. The revenge dress.
She has her Louboutin on.
Ooh, I love that.
Well, we cannot wait to see.
Now the women on the show are very competitive.
What's it like behind the scenes?
Oh, behind the scenes there's no competition.
It's all love.
You guys probably saw our Glamour cover back in September-
[Brooks] Yes, we did.
Which was so amazing.
It was stunning.
We were holding hands and leaning into each other.
That really is how it is.
I mean, that's the best way to be on a television show
with everybody showing each other love and respect.
I love that.
Okay. And next, how do you get your news in real life?
Do you have a favorite source for news?
I mean, I'm definitely into podcasts.
[Brooks] Love that. I want like
a daily podcast scenario
and I am on the death scroll.
I do spend a lot of time on social media
trying to see what's happening.
Especially nowadays, you know,
it's political season
so we're all trying to see what's going on
and what's happening in real time.
So that's mostly how I get my news. Yeah.
I love that. We are so excited.
We're the same way. You have no idea.
We are huge fans. - Yes.
Okay, last question for you.
Who are some of the women in your sisterhood?
Oh, well Jen and Reese,
obviously all the ladies on The Morning Show.
Mara Brock Akil,
all the women on Forever that I work with.
But really all of my really, really tight girlfriends
are friends that I've had since I was very young.
I have three sisters.
Oh wow. So you get it.
Wow. So you get it.
So I get it.
I've always had like a strong bond with women
because I've had these three sisters all my life.
[Grace Ann] Of course.
There's nothing like a sister.
Nothing like a great sister.
It's the best.
Only we can yell at our sisters.
That's the rule. Yeas. Exactly.
Right amount of love,
and then show them the right amount of tough love.
So that's-
[Brooks] Amen to that.
It's a very happy balance.
Oh, by the way, I mean, the carpet coordination.
We can't wait to see this dress with this background.
It's insane.
Oh, you're right.
It's like perfect. It's insane.
You're made for it.
It's almost like you knew.
Here we go. Here we go.
We can't wait to see you rock it. Thank you so much.
So nice to meet you.
[Guest] Gorgeous.
Okay you guys,
next up we have model influencer Lexi Wood.
Woo. Looking gorgeous as ever.
Ow ow.
Hi Girls.
Hello.
I love seeing friends at these events
because- I know.
It's the best.
You're just like at a bar having a martini.
I know.
No, literally. Girls nights out.
So tell us who you're wearing tonight.
I actually love mixing luxury and affordable.
So tonight I actually got my dress off Amazon.
[Grace Ann] We love that. We love Amazon.
Hello.
I mean, gorgeous.
So Lexi, I have a question for you.
You know all about that reality show life.
Do you have any tips for us as we embark on our journey?
Please help. Honestly,
I think just like stand up for yourself. Be you.
I mean you guys, I feel like we're all so similar
in how we are and how we move.
So no.
Do you guys, I mean,
any advice for everyone else?
You guys are killing it.
We're still learning, you know.
We don't have filters so that's, you know,
we're kind of working on that.
We're working on that.
I'm surprised I have a mic in my hands.
I mean honestly, you're amazing.
We love your show. Thank you so much.
I really appreciate it.
I feel like you have to stand up for yourself
and what you believe in
and the girls and period.
[Brooks] Yes. Period.
And you're the perfect example of that.
Well you look stunning as always, Lexi.
Have so much fun.
We'll see you on that carpet, girl. Rock it.
Mwah.
Okay. We have some more guests coming in.
We have the Love Island stars,
Jana Craig and Serena Page.
Woo woo.
Woo woo.
Oh oh, Islanders in the house.
Islanders in the house.
Doo doo. Everybody's
favorite reality show.
Honestly, there's so many amazing dresses here.
I know, I'm getting distracted.
I'm trying to like stay focused.
But there's some crazy things going on behind us.
Hi ladies.
Hello ladies.
[Both] Hi. Y'all look-
Y'all look stunning. Amazing.
Blinded by these diamonds. We love this-
Hello. I mean, insane.
Okay girls, tell us what sisterhood means to you.
Tonight's all about sisterhood.
We wanna hear your take.
Of course, my favorite topic ever.
It means community. It means uplifting.
It doesn't always mean blood.
You don't have to be like, you know, blood-related.
But you know, uplifting, empowering fellow women
and making sure that they feel their best,
like regardless of anything.
Amen.
Literally when everyone's asking me this question,
I know sounds crazy,
I think of Serena.
So many people says, what does sisterhood mean to you?
I'm like, what does Serena mean to me?
And I just go for it.
Yeah, it just means like having your sisters back,
uplifting them, motivating them,
getting them through the day,
but reminding them that they're like the best ever,
even on their worst days.
That is very well said. Very true.
You guys, nail on the head. You guys are-
I mean this is iconic.
Both of you look stunning.
A little sister coordination.
I'm obsessed, girls.
You all look amazing. At all. At all.
Cannot wait to see you guys rock the red carpet.
Have so much fun, ladies.
Cheers. We'll see you in there.
[Brooks] Okay, so
what does sisterhood mean to you, by the way?
[Grace Ann] Well, all this talk about sisterhood
makes me feel like I should apologize
for using all of your makeup yesterday
and trashing your bathroom.
I don't wanna be triggered right now.
We're at a fun event and that was very traumatizing.
I'm sorry for yelling at you in the green room.
But look, we're here.
Aw. Look what this event's doing for us.
It's moving us closer together.
Cheers.
Cheers with our glamour mics.
I am just in awe at all the makeup looks.
I know. And we have some crazy stars upcoming.
Here we have Olivia Atwood.
Oh my gosh.
Hi gorgeous.
What is up?
You look stunning.
I wanna make sure I'm not doing like
an X-rated live stream here.
Girl, we love X-rated.
Hello. How are you?
You look incredible.
How are you? This glove moment is so good.
I can't to come on your podcast.
By the way, I'm your biggest fan.
Brookes, I was like
if her publicist hasn't told her about coming on my podcast
and I mention it, I will cease to exist.
Babe, I'm looking forward to it. You have no idea.
We'll spill all the tea. Okay.
You, I could listen to your voice all day long.
Thank you. What is this outfit?
I need to know the details.
So it's Rick Owens basically head to toe
with Louboutin shoes.
I just went, let's go with something a bit different,
a bit edgy.
[Brooks] I love. I love that.
It's very cool, girl.
I love that you're wearing gloves
because we got the memo.
Yeah. And it's cold out there
and I'm naked every else,
so I just thought I'd keep my hands warm.
Hey, at least your hands are warm.
And the theme of the night is sisterhood,
so we wanted to hear from you.
What does sisterhood mean to you?
It means that you can call your girlfriend up
anytime of the day or night
and we'll be like, okay, let's go.
We're going outside his house, we're stalking him.
Yes. Amen.
We're stalking him.
Go and egg his house
or do something else that's not illegal.
[all laughing]
Or it is. It is illegal.
Speaking of illegal,
we're gonna play a little game called love thy sister.
Get it. Ha ha. Play on love thy neighbor.
So we've got some questions for you.
Are you more about giving tough love
and the full-on reality check
or letting your sister vent, order pizza,
open wine and slide into the next man's DMs?
It depends on the sister, but probably the first one.
Amen. Tough love for life, baby girl.
Just, well keep it moving.
Do you know what I mean?
Yeah. Totally.
There's no time for crying. Absolutely.
To know. I can't.
Like let's like vent and then let's go out.
Amen. Amen.
So both. My next question is,
are you more of a group chat girly with your girlfriends?
Are you more of an in-person, one-on-one, spill all the tea?
This is so bad. My friends watch this.
I'm group chatting
and then messaging someone outside the group chat chats go,
Are you reading this group chat? What is going on?
We've all been there. We've all been there.
All been there with the side combos.
Yeah. And even in real sister,
blood sister chat. You need to
unpack the main group chat in a different group chat.
Amen. We have about four different ways
our group chats go.
Other sisters, everything.
Okay. Do you prefer a sisterhood of four
or a full sisterhood squad?
Big group?
I think smaller.
I think you can get like
just, yeah, you can be more yourself,
I think with a smaller group.
Absolutely. Quality over quantity, Olivia.
Yeah. I'm mind blown
by your outfit and-
Insane. I can't wait to dish
all the tea with you on your pod.
You're such an inspiration to women everywhere.
Yeah. Thank you so much.
We're so obsessed with you, Olivia.
Bye, Olivia.
Oh my gosh.
I mean, her look was insane. So starstruck.
Samantha Barry, the woman of the hour.
Wow, wow, wow.
The one and only.
You look un-
Okay Samantha, were you the one behind the Louvre?
I mean-
Didn't he just rob the Louvre?
I mean, you look incredible, Samantha.
Thank you so much.
It makes me so happy to see you guys host the live stream.
Oh my God, we're having so much fun.
This is all because of Samantha Barry.
She was like, wait a minute, sisterhood's the theme.
I need these girls.
And I was just gonna ask you,
in the spirit of sisterhood,
I wanna know from the queen herself of this theme.
What does sisterhood mean to you?
Oh, honestly, it's just my favorite theme.
Last year we celebrated mothers, right?
We had the most amazing mothers
of the most famous people in the world.
We had Beyonce in the room and Billie Eilish
and Selena Gomez's mom and and Donna Kelce.
And when I thought about this year, I was like,
what's a natural progression?
I love my sister so much.
She is here on the red carpet straight from Sweden.
She's Irish like me, but she lives in Sweden
and sisterhood is so important.
So we came up with a theme
and then we were like, wait a second,
who are the most fun, fabulous sisters
that we could ask?
And then we just said, let's call the Naders.
Well the fact that you gave us mics
means you have a lot of trust in us.
It's pretty crazy.
And also I will say, we don't throw this around lightly,
but I have to say that after the last weekend
we were together,
you're our honorary Nader sister.
Samantha, the hotter, wiser.
Officially, the fifth Nader.
Redhead, sexy Irish sister.
[Samantha] My sister was like, Oh, how very brave of you
to stand in a photo
with those four very good looking women.
Oh please, Samantha for president, seriously.
And we need to have a sister's night out
with you and your sister.
But just watch the necklace if you're around the others.
The sticky fingers.
I mean, watch it when you're around me,
I'm about to snatch it, right-
We're in awe at the talent in this room.
The powerful women.
How did you select these Glamour Women of the Year?
But you know what? It's such a great group.
I think honestly this is our most talked about,
our most shared, our most commented on
Women of the year we've ever, ever had.
And it is so,
you know, we get together, the Glamour team
and we'll start thinking about
the Women of the Year next year
as soon as we pack off this live stream.
And for us it's always like
what women made huge differences this year, right?
The ones that are from different generations, right?
You have Demi Moore teaching us all
to be leading ladies in every decade of her life.
You have this amazing young South African star like Tyla
that is just at the start of her career.
Then you have like the educators and activists
like Ms. Rachel.
You have Rachel Zegler
who just had this most amazing summer in London
as Evita,
Pat McGrath, beauty legend,
and the women of WNBA.
And when we look at the whole class of 2025,
I'm just so proud of these women.
And I think for me, the true act of sisterhood
is when we started releasing those covers,
every single one of the other honorees
started sharing, celebrating, sliding into each other's DMs.
[Grace Ann] Yeah. It was just
such a lovely act of like we're in this together.
And to be at the plaza tonight,
to be able to celebrate them in spectacular style
is something that I feel very, very lucky about.
Well congratulations on a beautiful event
and some beautiful stars.
You really, truly- You crushed it.
Could not have picked a better class of Women of the Year.
We're so honored to be here. You ready
to you party later?
[Brooks] Oh my gosh. Are we ever?
Never had a party we didn't like.
I hate parties. What are you talking about?
Love you Samantha. We love you so much
and see you soon.
We have the gorgeous, gorgeous Scheana.
Hi, how are you?
You- Oh my God, you look insane.
Look Amazing.
What is this dress?
Versace.
Girl. Yeah, except
I couldn't button the body suit
so it's like poking up a little.
[Brooks] We're okay.
[Grace Ann] All I see is like there's no waste.
Snatch, just snatch, snatch all around.
Okay, so you're a reality queen
and I wanna know from you,
what does sisterhood mean to you?
So they just asked me this
and I was like, you know what?
Sisterhood to me is women supporting women,
not tearing each other down
like they do in the comment section.
[Brooks] You know? Totally, the troll.
Just being happy for your friends,
not being jealous
and really just like having their back no matter what
and being happy for their success.
You could not have
said that better. Absolutely
It is so true.
So, so true.
Okay, so one of the sisterhood rules
is what goes on in the group chat stays in the group chat.
Yes. What is
your unbreakable rule?
Literally that.
We were just talking about it at lunch.
We're like this is a circle of trust.
We don't need to say it again.
We just, what happens here stays here. You know?
So true. Absolutely.
And don't hit on our boyfriends.
Exactly. Yes, exactly.
Or ex-boyfriends.
Ex-boyfriends are off limits too.
Debatable. So who is in your
sisterhood squad?
So I'm here right now
with my friend Maddie and Christie
and it's her birthday tomorrow.
We're just having a little girls trip.
I'm like, I have to work on Tuesday.
But then girls trip for the rest of the week and-
So you make time for your girls.
That's what it's all about right there.
A birthday celebration.
Yeah. Okay.
So how do you think as women
we can make sisterhood stronger?
I think genuinely being happy for other people.
I've been friends with so many people
where it's like very competitive
and I just wanna be happy for my friend's success
and I want that reciprocated.
Amen Scheana,
you're such an icon and we're so happy.
You really are.
We're gonna have so much fun celebrating.
Yes, I'm so-
Have so much fun.
We can't wait to see you rock the carpet-
Rock that carpet. In that gorgeous
Versace dress.
Thank you.
Ilana, you look amazing.
Amazing. Thank you.
So do you both.
Gorgeous.
We need to know the outfit deets.
Okay, so the outfit deets are, do you know Wendy Nichele?
[Brooks] Tell us more.
She's known most for her jewelry.
You're gonna be obsessed once you discover her,
but she also is known for her leather.
[Brooks] And this is a- Oh-
I mean, wow.
Can we get a 360? The only people
in the world have, oh yes.
[Brooks gasps]
I'm dead. This is-
[Both] Insane.
Okay. Only three people in the world have this jacket.
Beyonce, Wendy Nichele, and I'm borrowing it.
Some rich bitch in Austin.
[Brooks laughing] Oh my gosh.
Well, I'm gonna have to go to the
rich bitch in Austin's house.
I have to tell you.
So this is archival sample Giorgio di Sant' Angelo.
If you don't know him, nobody knows him.
Like incredible New York icon
and the shoes are Stuart Weitzman, of course.
And then Wendy.
Oh stunning.
Okay. Okay,
so you had the ultimate sisterhood
with Abbi Jacobson on Broad City.
Who is your comedy sisterhood now?
Literally still Abbi.
I just voice memoed her.
Just yesterday I was like we are sisters.
[Ilana laughing]
[Brooks] Amen to that.
I literally just did.
Perfect timing. Amen to that. We love that.
Okay, so my other question is,
this is a kind of this or that thing.
Are we keeping it in the group text or are we side texting?
Ooh. This is a toughie, I know.
[Ilana sighs]
I think I used to side text but now I'm 38 years old.
I'm also a mom.
It's time to keep it in the group chat
and just be honest with everybody.
[Brooks] Wow. I love that.
Maybe we'll get to that level of maturity one day.
I love that.
It's okay. But sisters, it's a different thing.
Yeah, I agree. I agree.
Well, you look absolutely stunning.
Have so much fun tonight.
We can't wait to see you
give us a spin in that jacket on the carpet.
You look fantastic. Oh.
[Brooks gasps]
Kamie Crawford.
I know this wifey for lifey.
[Grace Ann laughing]
[Kamie speaking indistinctly]
Can we-
She is actually one of our siblings.
And speaking of sisters,
we just need to start with congrats.
You're engaged.
It's blinding everyone.
Everyone at home, take a seat.
Beyond.
[Brooks] Wifey for lifey.
It's unreal. It's unreal.
[Brooks] It's kind of insane.
No, it's crazy.
I was not,
I was expecting this, kind of.
Like, I was prepared for this.
I was prepared for the engagement.
I was not prepared for the bridal era.
[Brooks] Woo. It's unreal.
[Brooks] It's here, baby.
I'm unprepared to see your bridal era content.
It's gonna be insane. I think it's gonna
just take over my whole feed in the best way possible.
I'm just, I can't even describe.
I want you to feed me with all the content.
I have a question for you,
'cause I know we discussed this
but I wanted everyone else to hear.
Yes. What role,
'cause you have a lot of sisters.
How many? Let's hear it.
I have five younger sisters. I'm the oldest-
Wow. Of six.
She's the oldest of six girls.
Cannot imagine. The one is over there
and I see her and I love her so much.
The one is over there.
She's got her camera on me like Kris Jenner vibes.
This is like, this is what sisters do.
You're doing amazing, sweetie.
I wanna know what role they played in the engagement.
Honestly the biggest one.
They picked the venue, they did the florals.
They like really got it together.
My man is very thoughtful and intentional and precise.
That's why I'm marrying him.
But you need a woman's touch in these kinds of things
and they know exactly what I want
'cause I've only been talking about it since I was like 10.
[Brooks] Oh.
Absolutely.
Okay Kamie, you host the Relationshit podcast.
What is the state of relationships right now?
We know you just got engaged. Are your sisters dating?
Do you approve?
I know we often, we all hate our sister's boyfriends, right?
No matter what. They love my fiance,
thank God.
But honestly, the dating pool has pee in it.
I think everyone knows that.
[Brooks laughing]
[Brooks] That it's contaminated.
Everyone is well aware. It's contaminated.
It's not looking good.
And every time they show me like what's on Hinge,
I am horrified by the options.
It's really dreadful out there.
It's really scary. It's spooky.
But I think that we just need
to like collectively get on the same page.
All the single men and single women and single people
need to get together and like-
[Brooks] Focus group.
We need a focus group. We need like a UN of relationships.
[Brooks] Oh my God. Absolutely.
Can Relationshit start this for us
and we'll all join? They will.
I'm working on it.
We need you to to spearhead that thing.
Okay, well you look gorgeous
and we can't wait to see you in there.
Thank you so much. Love you, Kamie, my wifey.
Love you, I'll see you soon.
Ciara. Ciara Miller.
Looking stunning.
Gorgeous. Hi guys.
I know last time I saw you,
we were on a runway.
We sure were. Sounds just like us.
We're a little bit of a different attire right now.
I know. Different.
What is this dress?
Victoria Beckham.
Insanely elegant. Absolutely stunning.
Stunning on you.
I never wear anything like this
so I'm like-
[Brooks] Okay, this is your look.
[Grace Ann] It's amazing.
Okay Ciara, tell us who your Woman of the Year is.
My Woman of the Year.
Honestly I was really down with Ms. Rachel.
Ms. Rachel being Woman of the Year,
an advocate for the kids
and just like being so outspoken
and I just felt like she's like the perfect person to win
Glamour's Woman of the Year and like yeah.
we totally agree.
And how as women can we make sisterhood stronger?
Hmm. I think about this every single day.
Let's only put positive things in the comments.
[Grace Ann] Yes. Amen.
The trolls gotta go.
Like I feel like we have to be our biggest supporters.
Yes. We support
women's rights and wrongs.
Yes. I love that. And just only,
we only need to critique each other behind closed doors.
Never in public, you know? Totally.
And only to people we love.
There's no random people that are allowed to comment.
And especially women.
That's the worst, when it's other women.
No, I know. Come on, we gotta
speak up for each other. Absolutely agree.
We love that. Well, you look stunning.
We can't wait to see you on the carpet.
Thank you so much.
So have fun. We'll see you in there.
Ciara, I'm telling you,
this is like your look.
You need to just- It's unreal.
The dress forever.
I'm gonna keep it. This is mine.
You have to buy it. It's yours.
Okay, thank you.
We love you in VB.
Love you. Bye Ciara.
Stunning, God.
And here we have Maura Higgins
looking absolutely flawless.
Girls, I've just watched your show.
Oh my god. I literally just watched,
I finished it.
[Grace Ann] Did you? Yeah.
[Grace Ann] Who's your favorite Nader sister?
I can't say that.
[Grace Ann laughing]
[Grace Ann] Come on. Your all my favorite.
I love you. You look we unreal.
Love you. Guys, you look amazing.
UK fricking TV star, our icon.
Oh thank you.
Thank you. You look stunning.
What is this dress? Who are you wearing?
LaQuan Smith.
[Grace Ann] Suits you. My first time
doing red carpets in the USA, so-
[Brooks] Stop. Today?
Yeah, well I did one a few days ago.
Oh my god. I've been very excited
for this one. This is so good.
Yes. So LaQuan Smith,
he's an American designer and I'm obsessed with him.
So yeah, I just thought well this dress-
[Grace Ann] This fits you absolutely perfectly.
It was made for you.
Okay. I know that you're a reality TV icon
so we need some advice from you.
What is your advice on the cattiness?
All the things, how do you avoid that in reality TV?
I never seem to avoid it.
[Brooks laughing]
[Brooks] Still working on it.
I always get myself into trouble.
I don't know why, but I think it's probably
the guys I go for a lot of the time.
Always the guys' fault. Let's just start there.
It is the guys.
Always. It is. We totally agree.
We're not gonna blame ourselves, are we?
Or other women. It's not us.
You make no wrong decisions, ever.
It's the guys, always.
And I just feel like a strong woman stands up for herself.
[Brooks] Right? Amen to that.
[Brooks] Yeah. You look
out of this world. Thank you.
I also wanna know, do you have any sisters?
Like what does sisterhood mean to you?
I do.
I have two sisters and one brother.
I'm a middle child.
Holler.
[Grace Ann] Yeah. I need to
have a focus group. It's always weird
being a middle child, isn't it?
Yeah, I find that.
I felt a bit left out, growing up
but like I was still very, very bossy.
You guys are like- We're kind of the same.
I'm also a bossy middle child.
We need to hang out more.
We need to get together.
We do. Maura, you look
out of this world.
We need to chat inside and-
Yes. Yes.
Have a drink with you. We would love that.
We love you. We'll see you in there.
It's so nice to meet you both.
I know, me too. Oh my god,
so happy to meet you.
Oh. We're huge fans.
Show was amazing.
Oh, thank you so much.
Too, like now.
We got you, girl. We got you.
You look insane. Thank you.
Thank you.
Michelle.
Hello hello.
Are you kidding me right now?
You look stunning.
Very serious.
So do you, and you know this.
The drip, the diamonds,
are you out of this world?
Diamonds. I'm blinded over here.
I mean, the neckline on this.
What a fun night to just get dressed up
and just gag over each other
and celebrate each other in our company.
[Brooks] I love it.
Exactly. Why not?
It's kind of amazing.
Oh, is that what it's giving?
It's giving that. Oh, it's exciting. Oh.
[Brooks laughing]
Michelle, go ahead, take it away.
I just wanna talk to Michelle all night.
The kids are home. You're here.
Are you gonna turn up tonight
or are you gonna call it a night early?
Drinking with us? What a good question.
You know what?
I got two parking tickets today in my minivan.
It's turnip time.
[Brooks] That's an excuse to drink. She does it all.
Vegetable. It's turnip time.
[Grace Ann laughing] You know, I work hard
and I wanna play hard tonight.
I wanna celebrate with these amazing women.
We're doing it. Yes.
I know how to wall twerk.
I'm like Tom Cruise. I do my own stunts.
Yes she does.
For the girls. And speaking of
working hard, you hosted Glamour Women of the Year in 2023.
I did.
You came to the show last year.
Here we are. You're a Glamour VIP, girlfriend.
Oh, I'll take it.
I am just wondering like,
what do you think is so special about this event,
being involved? Oh my goodness.
I think you know, really strong women,
we still have this thing where we tend to apologize
for our greatness and we don't wanna take up space.
And this is such a beautiful night for us to take our space,
you know, to live in our power
and to really celebrate each other.
You know, not just over social media.
Not just like at a fun luncheon
but like in person
and you know, it's international
and it's like my most favorite event.
This is my Christmas.
This is your Super Bowl.
This is my Super Bowl. This is it, girl.
This is my halftime show.
Yeah, hello.
We're all here for it.
Okay, so tell us, at this point in time,
who is in your comedy sisterhood?
Oh my goodness.
That is, what a,
oh God, it feels like picking my favorite child,
I don't know, or favorite song.
I don't know if I could, I mean obviously I love Ali Wong.
We did Always Be My Maybe together
and I love Ilana Glazer.
We did Babes together.
And Sherri Shepherd and Niecy Nash and Wanda Sykes.
I mean, there's so many.
And my most favorite comedians
are some really amazing women that you've never heard of
that are out in the streets doing three, four shows a night
trying to make rent.
Those are the people you wanna go support.
So go to your local comedy club,
wherever you are,
and support those women.
[Brooks] Amen.
Amen.
And you- Oh, Hallelu.
There's a Tia Marie I know who's gonna church.
Who put a five bill on top of the donation basket
so everybody sees?
[all laughing]
I actually like don't want you to leave.
Can you just stay here all night and make us laugh?
Yes. They don't drug test here. I love being here.
You're here.
Van got the tickets. We got it parked. It's fine.
We're here. I love it so much.
So you and Ilana just opened
for Celeste Barber at Town Hall.
Yes. And you called yourself
funny, horny women who are also moms.
[Brooks] Yes. How does
the horny mom make sure she gets her needs met?
Who wrote that question?
That one wasn't me, but I wanna know not answer.
It was not us.
Who wrote that question?
Yeah, you know, again,
it's like taking up space, telling someone what you want,
what you need, how you like it.
There's nothing wrong with that.
Own it. Don't lease to buy. Just own it.
And so it's so nice being around working moms
who understand the struggle of
making lunch at breakfast
and talking about dinner at breakfast
and doing all the things but still going out,
making people happy, making themselves happy
and paying the bills on time.
[Brooks laughing]
Amen. Girl, you look stunning.
She EO. You're so much fun.
The boss. Paying the bills.
We're obsessed with you.
Huge fans. Well, we'll have to
hit a comedy show-
Together. On Bleecker Street
or something soon. Let's go to Comedy Cellar.
Love that. Let's do it.
You know where all the female comedians are?
I know. Comedy Cellar.
You know what you guys, I'm going on tour next year.
It's gonna be called Surviving and Thriving
'cause that's exactly what we're doing.
Go to michellebuteau.org,
it's organization, to get your tickets.
Oh. Oh.
there we go, we're there. We're going there
immediately. So there.
You look stunning.
We can't wait to see you rock the carpet.
Welcome to the view. Woo.
Woo. Yes.
Oh my god, you're so funny.
Suni, you look insane.
Hello.
[Suni] Thank you.
Oh my god,
this is your color. Stunning.
You look amazing.
Gorgeous. My Sports Illustrated
sister.
Oh look, we're making like a red sandwich out of you.
It's Christmas.
Suni, what does sisterhood mean to you?
Oh my gosh. Sisterhood means absolutely everything to me.
I have two sisters
and also being in the sport of gymnastics,
it's all a bunch of amazing women.
So I feel like all of us just sticking together
and then accomplishing everything
that we have ever wanted to do
is just such an amazing thing.
Wow, that's beautiful.
And speaking of, miss little humble queen,
you won Glamour Woman of the Year in 2024.
What was that night like for you? Tell us.
That night, it was honestly so surreal.
I mean I never imagined that like doing gymnastics
would be able to get me in rooms like this.
And also just being honored
for just being the women I am, I guess,
and all of my accomplishments was such an amazing thing.
So it was really exciting.
And to have all of my favorite people there
was also really cool.
So yeah, it was an exciting night
and I'm excited for everybody tonight.
Yes. You've done a lot of work to help people
to take care of their mental health.
If you see a friend struggling, what's the best way to help?
For me, I love to do daily check-ins.
I mean, I call my friends almost every single day,
even if it's just for like a short second.
But I also love just like sending them things.
Whether it's like sending them flowers
or like a nice text every day
and just like making sure that they're doing okay
because I know for me, when I was struggling,
they were the ones that were there for me
and I love to just offer out all of my love
and everything else to anybody that needs it.
Well you're an amazing friend.
We're so lucky that you're here tonight
and having you in the SI sisterhood.
That's where we met, Sports Illustrated.
Never forget.
They've built such a strong sisterhood
and we can't wait to see you rock the carpet.
Yes. You look amazing.
And you look stunning.
We'll see you in there. Gorgeous.
Thank you. I'll see you guys.
See you. Gorgeous.
Okay. Hi hi. How are you?
How are you? I'm Brooks.
It's so nice to meet you.
So nice to meet you. Guys, we have
our favorite comedian, Hasan, here right now.
How are you? Hello everyone.
Bringing the male energy to the red carpet tonight.
Yes you are.
So Alpha.
You're on tour with your fellow Daily Show alum
Ronny Chang.
What is the backstage vibe?
Are there lots of dad jokes flying around
or what kind of banter do you guys have?
So the tour right now is called
Ronny Hates Hasan, Hasan Hates Ronny.
So the key adjective is despise, hate, detest.
So there's a lot of, I would say tension backstage.
Wow. Yeah. Yeah.
This sounds interesting.
Yeah, it's fight prep.
We need to kind of come to this show.
Yeah, I kind of want to like witness
that masculine energy.
Yeah. Okay, well in that tone,
what do you think is so important
about Glamour's Women of the Year?
So this is pretty awesome.
I am pretty stoked
because I will be presenting the WNBA-
Woo. With their award.
Pretty cool.
For someone who did very poorly
in the celebrity all-star game,
I'm honored to present the award to the WNBA.
I think the league is an amazing place.
It's the opposite of what's happening with me and Ronny.
I think the league is an amazing place.
Whatever the discourse and chatter is,
the ultimate winner of whose league it is,
is the league is an amazing spot
and I'm a huge fan.
And shout out to the 2024 champions, the New York Liberty.
They're in the building tonight as well.
[Brooks] So you're a Liberty fan?
Yes they are.
By default of being here, yes.
Okay. We love that.
We love that. We love the guys
supporting women in male fields.
We love this. Hell yeah.
Well, you look amazing.
We can't wait to see you rock this carpet.
We've been waiting for a male all night.
I'm here. I'm here with the missus.
Yeah, bring it.
Hi livestream. Please be nice.
Please be nice on the livestream.
This is like one of those TikToks,
please be nice on the livestream.
Bye.
Oh my gosh, here they are.
Ladies. It's our obsession,
the WNBA athletes.
You guys look world- Out of this world.
Incredible.
Come on in. come on in.
Squeeze on in. Oh my God, you guys.
I need to know every detail about all of your outfits.
Y'all look out of this world.
Who are we wearing tonight?
This is Carole Lee.
The bag is STAUD. Bondeye Jewelry.
Love.
What is this outfit? Oh, this is Meshki,
actually.
Gorge. Really cute.
Last minute. Shoes are Aldo.
Yeah. So hot.
What are we wearing?
I'm wearing Ahmrii Lorraine for the outfit.
Bahamian designer.
Doc Martens on the shoes.
Le Spec glasses.
And then the the hairstylist is Neva, that did my hair.
Unreal. You ladies look incredible.
You all look gorgeous tonight.
And I wanna know, as incredible women who play on, you know,
a woman's basketball team,
what is important about sisterhood to you guys?
Important about sisterhood?
Sister, yeah. I mean,
it's just obviously we've grown up playing sports
and there's nothing like being out there competing
with other people that that share the same goal,
same vision.
And there's a saying that like if you wanna go far
and you wanna go fast, you do it alone.
But if you wanna go strong, you go together.
So I think that's what sisterhood is.
[Grace Ann] Beautifully said.
Period. Amen to that.
Oh my God, I love that.
And shout out to your league mates
who could not join you tonight.
I know you guys are missing them,
but they're joining the live stream
and I'm sure looking at how incredible y'all look.
Yes. Anything you guys wanna say to them?
Satou, I'm disappointed that you're not here.
[Brooks] Oh. [laughing]
I love that.
JJ, you're healing up. Feeling good.
Are you ready to get back on the court?
No, I'm not there yet. I'm still scooting around.
You guys saw the scooter in the live stream
[Brooks] when I first came on. It's kind of chic,
[Grace Ann] honestly, I like it. It is.
I'm kind of jealous.
I'm holding it right now, but you know,
eventually I'll be back out there.
So thank you for asking. I appreciate that.
We're sending you all the juju.
Well, you're gonna make a speedy recovery.
I mean this look,
I mean, we love it with the boot though, honestly.
It honestly is still sick.
With shoes.
Sponsored by Doc Martens.
[Grace Ann and Nyara laughing]
I know, right?
Okay guys, so y'all have to be
so focused when you play ball.
But what are your off-season vibes?
Do we party? Do we relax?
Do we still play basketball?
What do we do in the off season?
We're normal humans. We enjoy every part of it.
We get a chance to relax,
take a just debrief from the season
and have a little fun visit.
Friends and family that gotta visit us during the season.
But, and then at the end of the day
it's getting back ready,
getting focused for the next year.
So it's a chance to regroup but also reset.
Amazing. Oh my god.
Lady Liberty fans for life.
Huge fans. We are so, so, so
proud of you guys. We're star struck right now.
Congrats on this honor.
It is such a huge honor
and we can't wait to see you guys rock the carpet.
Thank you so much. Yes.
I love the love looks. You guys have so much fun.
We'll see you in there.
Thank you. Let me get your scooter.
Who are these random little girls?
We need security. We have like a breach.
Actually, yeah. Where's our security?
There's been a breach. We're gonna have to
get rid of these people. There's been a breach.
We need security.
Hi women. Hi.
Okay, so- Okay girls.
What's your name
and who's your favorite character on Love Thy Nader?
[Sarah laughing]
I'm Sarah Jane Nader
and my favorite character is the youngest.
She's just the coolest, you know.
I'm Mary Holland Nader
and my favorite character is the finance one.
Very original, guys.
Let's get to the real stuff.
Which Nader sister is most likely
to get up bright and early?
It's definitely G-Ann.
I was up the earliest. Mary Holland Nader.
I would say me.
Okay. Who looks better tonight?
Just kidding.
That's not nice. We're kidding.
That's not cool.
Okay. But in all seriousness, what are you wearing tonight?
Okay, this is Alexander McQueen for Givenchy 1998.
It's vintage.
We just bought it together at a store in LA and-
[Grace Ann] I picked it out and I'm gonna be borrowing it.
This is Helsa. That's all.
That's all, ladies.
Stunning.
Y'all look out of this world.
Well, y'all are definitely
the third and fourth coolest Nader sisters.
A few hours since I saw y'all.
Separation anxiety.
We love this.
Okay, why don't you tell us
what sisterhood means to each of you?
Aw, that's cute. Aw.
I would say sisterhood is
your chosen-slash-not-chosen family.
It is like your forever people and it's just forever.
[Brooks] Okay. Nice.
Sisterhood to me is confidence
'cause we all boost each other up.
You guys just make me feel so supported
in everything that I do and yeah.
[Brooks] Okay wait,
one more thing. Aw, very sweet.
Glamour wrote this question.
What is your favorite trait about your sister Brooks?
[Mary Holland laughing]
So Brooks is really authoritarian in the best way
and I think that's a great confident trait to have.
Yeah. I would say, to my earlier point,
circling back to that, her confidence.
Wow. We love that. Oh, we love that.
And this one is our last question.
What's your favorite facial feature of Grace Ann?
[Sarah Jane laughing]
So random, they threw that in there.
I'm gonna go with-
Your smile.
And I love her nose.
Keep it. Aw, thank you.
Keep it. Don't change it.
Keeping my nose. All right, ladies.
Well, y'all look incredible.
We can't wait to see you rock the red carpet.
Rock that carpet, ladies. You honestly,
kind of nailed it with the theme and-
Yeah. Right.
Cheers to sisterhood, girly pops.
See you chicks later.
Alright. Love y'all.
Love you. Have fun.
See you. See you later.
[Robin] Hi. Hi.
Hello.
You look incredible tonight.
You look unreal.
We need to know the deeds on this dress.
Yes. This is Alice and Olivia.
I love Alice and Olivia.
I love the,
they are always dressing women to look good for victory.
Amen, Robin. Amen.
And you are victorious for sure.
You have a new cookbook coming out.
Yes. In March.
I have a new cookbook coming out in March
called Eat to Hustle.
So protein-packed recipes
because you know, sweat is an accessory too, okay?
[Brooks] [Robin laughing] Oh, amen to that.
We love that. Amen.
And you did a family dressup for Halloween.
It was so precious. We saw the photos.
Who decided on that wicked theme?
My daughter. She is the CEO of the house.
Sam Barry, Anna Wintour.
Like their power pales in comparison to my 4-year-old.
[Robin laughing]
A 4-year-old at commission is a dangerous little thing.
I love it. I love it.
I love that.
Okay, so also we know you play the best music
in all of your classes.
What's on the playlist right now
to keep us going and moving?
Honestly, I'm loving Doechii.
Obviously I love Tyla,
but, and Beyonce is on constant 365 rotation.
[Grace Ann] Amen to that. Amen.
Oh my God, never get enough.
Alright, well you've received a special honor
at Glamour Women of the Year.
Tell us about that honor.
You know, that was my very first time
at the Glamour Women of the Year Award.
I was a recipient of the Dare to Disrupt Award.
And honestly, just being in a room,
the energy is frenetic, right?
So like for the folks at home,
you are feeling the vibes of other powerful women.
We're paying it forward.
And of course to be on a stage
and share a stage with people that I admire and respect
was an honor.
Absolutely. So our theme tonight is sisterhood.
Tell us what sisterhood means to you.
Sisterhood is using my voice even when it shakes
and noticing whose voices are not around the table
or in the room.
And I have a question. Who is your Woman of the Year?
Oh, my Woman of the Year will always be my mama.
Like I know y'all run to your mom.
Yes. Sisterhood in the family.
Mine does too.
My mama and my younger sister
will always be the queens of my wolf pack.
Well hopefully they're at home watching the live stream,
listening to that.
Shout out to mom and sis.
We love that so much.
And congrats again.
Just, you're such an inspiration.
The last time I saw you it was at the ESPYs
and you told me to tan naked
and I was like, noted.
Oh my God, have we started doing that?
It's the best.
Oh my god. It's the best.
Sunning. It's good for metal health.
And we can't wait for the cookbook.
We are so excited. Thanks ladies, have fun.
Enjoy.
Okay, we have Mother Pat.
[Grace Ann] Wow, wow, wow.
We are in the presence of an icon.
[Brooks] You look amazing tonight.
[Grace Ann] You look stunning.
Thank you. I'm in my usual uniform.
I mean you-
Hair band and wool.
[Brooks laughing]
Wow. All black everything is the best.
I got the memo.
Okay Pat,
as a kid growing up in Northampton,
did you ever expect
to be one of the most celebrated artists in the world?
I don't think-
No. You don't expect that.
But I knew I wanted to be in makeup
and I knew I wanted to play with makeup.
That was a no-brainer for me.
[Brooks] Yeah. Amen.
Beauty. Pat,
you're the queen of beauty.
I mean, hello.
Mother for life.
What do you do to stay so creative?
Like what is inspiring you right now?
Oh my god.
Instagram, like what are we-
The whole planet.
Everybody.
Yes. I always love social media as well.
Of course my Instagram and everything
and the TikToks and everything.
But really as well,
seeing new talent out there is something that is wonderful.
My team, everybody around me.
But really it's literally from the music you listen to,
I dunno, from when you're out on the streets walking,
you see people working major looks.
I see major looks tonight on you two ladies.
I find everything inspiring, you know?
Wow, wow.
And what is your vision of teamwork and sisterhood?
Teamwork and sisterhood?
Oh my gosh.
My saying is always there is no I in we.
[Brooks] Amen, Pat.
We know it's not my saying,
I think it belongs to-
But like I said, there is no I in we
and teamwork and sisterhood is all about working together,
supporting one another and being there for one another.
You could not have said that better by the way.
And speaking of, you know, women in power,
you run a massive company, Pat McGrath Labs.
I've worked with you
when I was first starting out in modeling.
Your team was amazing.
You've worked with Louis Vuitton,
you do all the shows.
And I just wanted to know like
what have you learned about being a leader in this space?
I mean, my goodness,
I mean, being a leader in this space
is always, as I said,
being surrounded by wonderful people.
Never stop being inspired or being inspiring.
I think again,
for me it's how we all work together
is the most important thing.
And like I said, you know,
being a leader is just all about, you know,
how we all work together as a group
and also nonstop looking for new ideas.
Never stop.
[Brooks] Always being inspired.
24 hours a day, being inspired,
coming up with new looks, new colors,
new reasons for beauty.
Amen to that, Pat.
I mean we're both rocking some Pat McGrath Labs
tonight obviously.
Yes, of course we are. Always.
We love it. And what does it mean to you
to be named a Glamour Woman of the Year?
Oh my gosh, it means so much.
I'm very proud. I'm very honored.
I am, how can I say, I'm just very happy.
I mean, you know, it's a wonderful night.
It's gonna be amazing to see
so many inspiring people around us.
Beautiful women.
And yeah, like I said, it means a lot.
Like I said, yeah.
It's like one of the most deserved things ever.
Absolutely. You are so deserving, Pat.
We love you so much. You really are.
Well, congratulations again.
And thank you so much, ladies.
It's wonderful. We love you.
Pat for president.
Yes.
Love you. We love you.
[Guest] Pat for president.
[Grace Ann] Pat for pres. I love her.
[Brooks] Hi. Hi ladies.
[Grace Ann] Hi ladies. How are y'all tonight?
Girls are radiant tonight.
Absolutely stunning.
What are we wearing?
[Guest] Fabulous. Yes.
I'm wearing Katie.
I'm wearing L'Agence.
We love L'Agence. Ladies-
[Guest] You look gorgeous. I love it.
And who are you wearing?
Katie, yeah.
Well you guys look absolutely stunning.
Tell us what sisterhood means to you.
You know, I keep thinking of like Sisterhood
of the Traveling Pants.
Do you remember that?
[Brooks] Aw, one of the best.
I'm like, oh yeah.
Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
You share pants with your friends.
Yeah, you gotta like,
yeah, you gotta-
Your closet is their closet.
[Brooks] Yes. Especially
when you're blood sisters.
When you can share anything with your friends,
anything, secrets, clothes, whatever.
[Brooks] Boys. Just kidding.
You hear that, Brooks?
Share everything with your sisters.
No thank you. [Grace Ann laughing]
Nevermind.
You guys look incredible tonight.
Yes you do. And
I couldn't agree more, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
You're reminding me to watch
one of the greatest sister movies of all time.
[Grace Ann] I know. It's been too long
since we've seen that one.
I agree. I agree. Yeah.
[Brooks] That's what we're doing tonight,
now we have our plans after this.
Absolutely. Exactly.
Well, have so much fun in there.
You look amazing. Yes.
We'll see you guys in there.
This is the the pinky ring over-
[Guest] I know, over the-
I had to.
Why not? More is more.
More is more.
More is more. Yes.
We all enjoy.
Great to meet you.
Hi Jay.
Hi Jay. How are you?
You look amazing.
You guys look great. Stunning.
Tell us who you're wearing.
Brunello Cucinelli.
Never heard of him. One and only.
Just kidding.
Ever.
[Brooks] Never heard of it. So chic.
Guys, we have something in common.
What is it?
Baton Rouge.
Shut up. No freaking way.
[Brooks] You're from Baton Rouge?
From Baton Rouge. My best friend is from Lafayette.
Okay. We love Lafayette.
He went to LSU.
Right around the corner. Go Tigers.
Go Tigers.
G-E-A-U-X Tigers.
[Brooks] Geaux. Exactly.
Hell yeah. Geaux Tigers.
[Brooks] Geaux Tigers. But I spend
a lot of time there.
And what do you think? You like our hometown?
I love it. Have you ever had Gumbo?
Of course I've had gumbo.
Obvy, he's not new here, babe.
Yeah. What?
He's a pro. It's my first time.
No. So we have
Baton Rouge in common. Okay.
I did not know this,
but you have a few new amazing projects coming out
and I need to know,
you're a busy guy.
Can you give us any tea
on what's going on behind the scenes in these new shows?
Tell us.
Yeah, I mean All Her Fault comes out on Thursday.
We cannot wait. November 6th on Peacock.
Sarah Snook, Dakota Fanning, Michael Pena,
Abby Elliot, myself, Jake Lacy.
[Brooks] Casual. Crazy cast.
It's a bunch of nice people
trying to kill each other, basically.
No, a kid goes missing
and it's this family fully unravels
as they try to find out who took the kid and why.
And then yeah, I'm shooting two other shows right now,
which is a lot of fun but crazy
and you know, just staying busy.
Busy guy. And wearing
Brunello Cucinelli all at the same time.
Exactly. I mean, when are you not working?
What are you do for fun?
Work.
Well you're gonna have to have some gumbo
and take a break one day. Or go to Baton Rouge.
In Baton Rouge. I would love to do that.
I would love to. You don't have time
'cause you're busy a bee.
But we can't wait to see your new show.
We're so excited about it, and we're huge fans.
And we'll all have to plan a trip to Baton Rouge.
Absolutely. We'll do an LSU game.
Come do Pilates at my studio.
I have a studio in Baton Rouge.
No way. What, what's it called?
Sweaty.
[Brooks] Wait a minute. Does my mom go there?
I think my mom goes to Sweaty.
[Brooks] That's where our house is.
It is literally next to campus.
Okay. Sweaty. Mom's going to Sweaty.
You guys have to come to my studio and do Pilates.
I am an instructor. I will not-
My God. I will do a private,
I won't teach a full class.
Okay, well can we get a Nader sister private?
That would be a fantastic. Yeah. A hundred percent.
Done. Absolutely.
We'll take you to an LSU gave and give you some gumbo.
I love that. Done.
Game on. All wear Brunello Cucinelli.
[Jay laughing]
That doesn't exist in Baton Rouge,
but we do love the enthusiasm.
I love it. All right.
Great to see you. We'll have so much fun.
We can't wait to see you in there.
See you inside. Later.
Ubah.
Is it my favorite girl of all time?
Ubah.
Ubah. I know you've hosted before.
How are we doing?
Can you give us any tips, any advice?
Nobody hosts like Ubah, let me just tell you.
I know.
You guys are doing,
I've been watching, you guys are doing amazing.
The diamond, I feel like I need like glasses. I'm blind.
[Brooks] We stopped by the Louvre
and we just picked a few items up-
[Brooks] Oh my God. On our way.
She didn't mean that.
I did actually.
[Ubah] How are you guys doing?
We're doing great.
We're playing a fun little game called Love Thy Sister,
and we have a few questions.
Oh. You know Sarah Jane is my favorite.
You know. Here we go.
Ubah.
Okay. Are you more about the group shot
or the perfect selfie?
No. Group shot.
[Grace Ann] Group shot. Group shot.
[Grace Ann] You always direct a-
You do love a group shot, I know this about you.
Group shot is like 2016.
You honor your girls. Yes.
Support. Yes.
[Brooks] Yeah. Yes, Ubah.
What about you guys?
I mean, I'm all about a solo because I'm a little selfish.
You're about a selfish.
You know me. I love a group shot.
I love a group video.
But if you take a shot where you look hot
and everyone else looks horrible, are we posting it still?
There's Face tune.
Amen to that. Amen.
There's things for that now.
Yeah, exactly. Exactly.
You look stunning. We'll see you in there.
You look amazing. Mwah.
See you in there. [Ubah speaking indistinctly]
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Go ahead.
[Grace Ann] Hi.
Hello Jordyn and Jodie Williams.
You guys look woods insane, insane, insane.
[Brooks] Yeah, we know them. We're besties with them.
I know.
I love you guys and y'all look amazing tonight.
This is gorgeous.
The diamonds are blinding.
I mean, this moment.
You need to show off these amazing looks to everyone.
We have to show this off.
I am deceased over yall's outfits.
I mean, wow.
It's a sister thing.
[Brooks] It's a sister moment.
It is a sister night.
You guys are sisters?
We're sisters.
Do you know which one's the younger sister?
Me.
Just kidding. I'm kidding. I'm kidding.
I say the same thing.
Okay. I'm like-
Oh, shit. Do I look old?
You girls, what is this? What are we wearing?
This.
Okay, so normally we don't use a stylist
but we both used the same stylist tonight
and he got them made custom.
I don't know the person.
[Grace Ann] Say I've never seen-
[Brooks] He absolutely killed it.
That's the best compliment.
That's literally the best compliment.
That's all we want. And I need to know
everything. I'm obsessed.
And the eye makeup matching with the blue.
Unreal.
I am too. What?
Okay. We need to like, you need to go talk to Pat McGrath.
You really do.
I don't even know.
Okay. One of her stars.
So speaking of sisterhood,
sisterhood is not just being supportive.
It can also show up as tough love.
How do you keep it real with your sisters and friends,
especially your little sister right here?
I think honesty.
Always like being honest with each other.
Having integrity,
telling each other when to-
Something irritates you, communication is a huge thing.
I think first we don't really argue, which is-
[Brooks] That's amazing. Odd.
[Brooks] Lucky y'all.
But I think it's because we know our boundaries
and we know when one of us has an attitude
kind of just, you know, keep our distance.
[Brooks] Back it up.
We're always honest with each other.
I think the main thing is just
knowing that you're coming from a good place.
My sister would never hate on me,
so I know that what she's telling me-
She'll kill for you.
Exactly. I love that your sister
will kill for you
but she can also be the only one to yell at you.
If someone else yells at my sister, I'm like, no, no, no.
I can do that, you can't.
Right. You're the only one that can speak to me like that.
You girls get it.
One of the sisterhood rules
is what goes on in the sister chat
stays in the sister chat.
Is this an unbreakable rule
or do you screenshot a wee messy sometimes?
See, I'm not gonna go and tell my sister's tea.
Really not anyone's tea.
But I think it depends.
[Brooks laughing]
Depends on what?
Okay, I might go and tell my brothers
but I'm not gonna go and tell other people.
Literally, our brothers or mom
but family, yes. Yes.
Others? No.
Okay, that's good.
That's a good freaking sister right there.
This one on the other hand,
she'll tell E! News if she I wants to.
No, I actually- Careful.
I've seen some videos of-
She's a blabber. Spilling all the tea.
[Brooks] She's a blabber.
I tend to be a blabber.
That's how she got the mic tonight.
'Cause they were like, she'd be great to host with you.
I'm like oh God.
She'll get to it, but it's okay.
I get right to the point, what can I say?
I love it.
And who not all in y'all's sisterhood squad?
It's very small.
[Jodie] It is very small.
Who would you say is in her sisterhood squad?
[Jodie] Like your childhood best friends.
I have like a group of three childhood best friends
and we're all basically sisters.
It's not like, blood doesn't make us any closer.
[Brooks] Totally agree with that.
And one question, 'cause we do this,
but do you guys share friends?
'Cause we've all like pulled our friends together basically.
And- See we do a little bit,
but it's hard because we have a pretty big age gap.
But now I feel like we're sharing friends a little more
or like I'll be like, Oh Jordan, this person hit me up.
She's like, Oh really?
Okay cool. Really now? Okay.
Cool. We know that feel.
Really old enough to where like
she can be a part of the group chat and everything.
[Brooks] I love this. I love this.
So now it's starting.
That's the fun stuff. Only beginning.
Y'all look amazing. I love seeing you guys.
Stunning.
Y'all look so beautiful.
I can't wait to see y'all on the carpet.
It's out of this world.
Have to see these looks rock the carpet.
One of one. Keep them forever.
Y'all have so much fun.
[Brooks] Hi.
[Grace Ann] Hello.
[Brooks] Looking gorgeous. Oh my.
[Grace Ann] How are you [speaking indistinctly]?
Mwah. You look fabulous.
You look amazing. You look ureal.
Thank you.
I love the diamonds.
Thank you.
I need to know everything about this outfit, Olivia,
queen of fashion.
My diamonds are my girlfriend, Stephanie Gottlieb
and today was about diamonds and sisterhood
and supporting my girlfriend Sam Barry.
She's amazing,
so we wanted a little sparkle tonight for her.
I'm in love with you. You are so iconic.
You really are. And I need to know
if there's one must-have
that every woman needs in her wardrobe.
What is it?
A great statement coat.
Like that gives you power.
You feel amazing, confident,
and you definitely need amazing jewelry.
Amen. We're just gonna like rob you by the end of the day.
You have it. I need all of this
off your neck immediately. Thank you.
Well we love Stephanie.
She's amazing and-
Yes. Yeah, she's the best.
You look out of this world and what's the outfit?
Unreal.
It's out of my closet.
It's like a mix. Just pulled it.
Yeah. So I pulled it.
My top is Jean Baptiste
and my pants are just like random and-
[Brooks] This is why you're a fashion icon.
Oh, they're pants. Oh my gosh. Wow.
Also talking about sisterhood,
my shoes are from Casadei,
my best girlfriend supporting her from Milan.
Gorgeous.
And what does sisterhood mean to you
in the spirit of this theme?
Well, you know what?
I think it's about also your chosen family and sisterhood
and obviously family for you girls.
So, you know, I always love my girlfriends.
We empower each other.
My girlfriend today, she went shopping.
I empowered that purchase.
We're like, I love you. You're my sister.
You're supporting all your girls, Stephanie.
You really are. I mean, everyone.
I love that. And the fact that
this came out of your closet
and was not like a styled moment, is crazy.
Thank you. She's just the queen of it.
Thanks guys. Love seeing you.
Well we can't wait to see you rock the carpet.
You look stunning.
Thank you. Your hubby.
I love it. Hi hubby.
Wow, the jewels.
I'm like should we add to our looks?
Should be adding. Okay.
Alright. We have more guests and I see diamonds galore.
[Grace Ann] Diamonds, diamonds, diamonds.
[Brooks] And I drooling over these diamonds.
[Grace Ann] They're gorgeous. Wow,
this look is insane.
Hello.
How are you, gorgeous?
[Brooks] So nice to see you. Unbelievable.
Hello, gorgeous.
These looks are amazing.
Y'all incredible tonight.
We have to know- I love the bow.
Can you see how long it is? So good.
Wait. Wow.
Oh my God. Oh wow.
This is a statement bow.
It's the bow that never ends.
Both of you- Guys-
Oh wow.
This is such a sis moment.
I love it. So sweet.
And the diamonds, we're blinded by.
We love that.
Just a casual,
a casual down payment on my neck.
[Brooks] Casual, super casual.
Oh my gosh, guys.
We need to know what is this dress?
What is this body suit? What are these pants? I need-
Tell us everything.
I'm wearing [speaking indistinctly]
styled by the incredible and incomparable Amanda Lim.
Ugh, yes. I am in the one and only Willy.
Oh my god. Stunning.
Unbelievable. Stunning, ladies.
Oh my gosh. Okay,
we're gonna play a little game.
Finish this sentence.
Sisterhood is powerful when...
When you share your hearts.
It's like you can just create whole ecosystems
of just new possibilities.
Wow. I could cry.
Us in the car on the way here,
sharing our ecosystems, crying.
Can't cry. Can't cry.
Oh my gosh. That is so sweet.
We should share our ecosystems more.
We should work on that.
We should. Honestly.
We should. We've been fighting all day.
But you know what, you're inspiring us.
Okay, next sentence we need you to finish.
The best advice I ever got from a famous sister was-
Get enough sleep each night.
[Grace Ann] Wow. Ah.
[Grace Ann] That is an important one.
Make sure they pay you your money, honey.
Amen. Amen to that.
Okay, if sisterhood came with a dress code,
what would it look like?
Sisterhood? Yes.
If there was a dress code. If sisterhood
came with a dress code.
Honestly I think it would be giving like
cozy onesies, cozy moo moos.
[Grace Ann] We love cozy.
[guest laughing]
I missed the question
because I saw Rachel and she looks so beautiful.
All distracted by this.
She does look stunning. Hi.
Unbelievable. Unbelievable.
Well you ladies look absolutely stunning.
We can't wait to see you rock the carpet
and have fun tonight.
We'll see you guys in there.
You look amazing. Thank you. So do you.
So good, guys.
So good. Thank you so much.
Oh my gosh, we have-
Such an amazing group to follow.
They're so beautiful.
So beautiful.
You, Rachel, our beautiful honoree.
Thanks guys. We're so honored
to be in the room with you.
Well thanks for being here.
I really appreciate it, and thanks for having me.
I got stuck in traffic so I'm just glad I made it.
You're a Woman of the Year. No Stranger
to the New York traffic.
No such thing as being late when you're Woman of the Year.
Well still.
But I'm a theater person.
I like things to start on time, so.
Well speaking of,
you just crushed it this past summer in London.
How was that experience for you
seeing all of those thousands of people
come out just to watch you?
It was amazing.
It's unlike anything I've ever experienced.
The stages is my home, I love it so much.
And getting to bring that story to so many people
and to the general public of London was really incredible.
And I hope we get to do it in New York really soon.
I'm sure you will. 'Cause we need to watch you.
Is it true you were chosen out of 30,000 actresses
to star in the West Side Story?
Yes, it was true.
I was actually like eight years ago
that I auditioned, which is crazy.
But I was 16 years old and I sent in a self-tape
and 30,000 girls later, it was me.
And I can't believe it.
And I'm super thankful to everybody
who was involved in that production
'cause I really,
I wouldn't be here without any of them.
And speaking of, to be named Glamour Woman of the Year,
what does that mean to you?
It's the most incredible honor.
I never really thought that I would be the woman of
anything except on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
So I'm quite thankful
and everyone at Glamour has been so lovely.
So it's really such a lovely night
to just celebrate femininity in all of its forms
and all of these amazing hero women that are here tonight.
Well, congratulations.
And you have played iconic characters.
Tell us who's next on your list.
Gosh, well I hope I get the chance to be Eva Peron again,
but there's definitely stuff in the mix
that I'm really excited to share.
And I'm also just really excited
to be myself for a little bit.
We're excited for that journey for you as well.
And we hope that you come to New York.
We need to see you perform.
I would love that. On our list for sure,
and we're so proud of you.
Thank you. Glamour Woman of the Year.
Thanks. Congratulations.
We can't wait to see you up there.
Can't wait to see you on the carpet.
You look amazing.
Thank you so much.
Bye.
Darren Criss is here.
Hello. Hello Darren.
You have the- Woman with me.
Tony award-winning actor.
We're obsessed with you, Darren.
You're just saying that.
Nope, that's not true, Darren.
Should have mine to be on a red carpet with Rachel
and letting her go for it.
And by letting, I mean I know my place.
Well hello. We need you on the carpet next.
Look at this outfit.
We need the- This deserves
a whole moment.
You know man, it's Glamour.
You know, we're celebrating a lot of women,
so I've been known to pluck a lot of
my favorite sort of fem styles
and yoinking them.
Whether or not I pull it off or not is up for debate,
but I tend to,
I like a nice blast.
[Grace Ann] Absolutely. Amen.
And you've had a huge year
winning the Tony for Maybe Happy Ending.
What, yeah.
You made that up.
Nah. No.
Well, you know, if the shoe fits.
So what makes audiences fall in love with that show?
Oh, well if you haven't seen it,
it's very hard to explain.
Which is also I think a descriptor
of a lot of our favorite things in life.
You just kinda have to be there to see it.
And I'm saying that just so I don't take up too much time
because explaining it is very tedious.
But I think it's a very human story.
And I think at the end of the day,
anything that people respond to
in music, art, books, fashion,
it's, if there's a relatable humanness,
it's gonna catch on.
That is beautiful.
And we heard a rumor
that you start back up tomorrow on the show.
This is my-
Are we blowing it out tonight?
I thought this was my party.
[Brooks] It is. To celebrate
me going back.
No, no, no.
Yeah, no, I listen, I get to celebrate a lot of women
that I admire and respect the living hell out of.
And that's a nice little exclamation point
to my little hiatus.
So you might need to have a glass of champagne with us
and toast to your last little free night. Yeah.
I might have a few, yes.
All right. Let's do it. Go out with a bang.
Thanks for having me, guys. Appreciate it.
Incredible. We're excited you're here.
I'm stoked.
Yoo! Have so much fun
and rock that carpet, you look amazing.
Thanks ladies.
[Brooks] Chelley. Chelley,
[Brooks] you look unreal. You look
unbelievable. I've never seen anything like this
in my life. A moment for the dress.
What is this dress? This is insane.
This dress is actually by Yinan
and actually the accessories are also by Yinan as well.
So as you guys can see,
it's a nice little nipple moment.
We love a nipple.
The C word. Can I say it?
Yes. Clitoris. Okay.
Yes. The earrings
Are matching it as well. Yes.
You know, I was really trying to embody Woman of the Year,
the women's body, physique, everything.
[Brooks] You are- you look unreal.
A perfect image right now.
I can't even get over you.
Okay, so what is the ultimate sign
of real sisterhood for you?
The ultimate sign of real sisterhood
is embracing the next woman, no matter who she is.
So if she walks into the room,
if you can smile at her, compliment her, give her a big hug,
be a shoulder to lean on,
even give a nice little compliment,
that's real sisterhood.
Love that. It's like the bathroom hype up.
Some of those girls are my best friends to date.
Totally.
Pivotal moments- They are.
Bathroom moments. We love it.
That's when you need them most.
Exactly.
And I'm the girl in the bathroom who's gonna hype you up
every single time, like okay girl, you look good.
[Grace Ann] Yes. Gosh, we love that.
[Grace Ann] That is the way-
And so tell us, in 2025,
what does sisterhood mean to you?
In 2025, what does sisterhood mean to me?
It means having someone to lean on, no matter what.
Like even in your highest of times and your lowest of times.
Like someone who's always gonna show up for you.
And you also reciprocating that
because, you know, you can't always give a hundred.
We are not always at a hundred.
So if we're able to, you know,
give and take from one another
and just really lean on one another, that's sisterhood.
Absolutely. Amen to that.
Well listen, we can't wait to see you rock this red carpet
and we're such fans of yours and happy you're here.
You guys look amazing.
So do you. I'm dying over the accessories.
That's iconic. Thank you so much.
You look amazing. Iconic.
I need to get these earrings in the ring.
I need all of it to go home and go do a deep dive.
I'm to do some damage on my credit card.
Well you look stunning
and we can't wait to see you on the carpet.
You look Incredible.
[people chattering]
[Brooks] Here's our icon. Sam.
[Samantha] How's it going? Samantha.
[Brooks] Come back for a little fun?
[Samantha] How's it going? It's going amazing.
She had to come back because she missed us.
I'm on the floor at some of these looks.
Okay, who's your favorite look of the night?
What do you got? I literally
can't choose, but she just showed us her jewelry.
She has like a vagina ring, she has a boob ring.
It's all in the spirit of women. We love that.
Everybody looks amazing. Who was your favorite chat?
Well, you. Obviously.
Of course. Obviously, it's you.
Honestly though, all the chats were amazing.
Everyone is so for the girlies here,
and we got two guys, two, three guys.
But you know, they were also for the girls.
We like a good ally. We like a good ally to come along.
They were for the girls. Yeah.
They were like, we love supporting women
but we have a fun little game for you.
Okay, let's go.
Okay. It's called, what is it called?
This or that? Love-
Thy sister. Love thy sister.
Of Love thy sister.
Okay. What is number one girl code for you?
Wait. Okay.
Okay. We're choosing.
Okay. I got to choose. Okay.
Okay. Okay.
Hit 'em. Don't go
after your friend's crush
or keep secrets secret?
Keep secrets secret.
Yeah. The first one's a vibe.
100% no. Don't be messy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Woo, that's messy.
Okay. Truth or comfort.
Being brutally honest even when it hurts
or keep it sweet and sugarcoat some things?
I have a friend that says it's not tough love,
it's just love.
So I think being a little bit honest, yeah.
[Brooks] I love that.
It's a great phrase. It's just love.
We're definitely gonna steal that.
It's not tough love, it's just love.
Alright, are you more of a text girly
or a voice note girly?
Okay. I am more of a phone call girl. I am old school.
Love that. Phone call.
I will, I love a voice note.
Like, send me your mini podcast,
give it to me in the morning.
I wanna listen to it on the way to work.
Love a good voice noter.
But I am absolutely a phone caller.
A facetimer over a texter every day.
I love that. So am I, honestly.
Okay, so if a partner-
oh, we us have to discuss the covers.
Yes.
Oh, tell me.
I need to know what was your inspiration
in each of the shoots,
like I feel like all of the covers
were so iconic in their own rights.
And so did you come up with all of the concepts?
Like how did these covers come to life?
We have the most amazing creative team at Glamour
around the world.
And we sat down earlier this year
and we really wanted the covers to represent the women.
And I know that sounds simple,
but we wanted you to know when you saw the covers
exactly who that woman was.
We didn't want it to be too conceptual.
We wanted to put them in a sense of place.
So you saw Rachel Ziegler in the West End Theater
that she was playing Evita in.
We wanted, and you have the Women of the WNBA.
We've shot them all over America in their courts, right?
And I think we wanted it,
we wanted the women to feel extremely powerful
in their shoot
but not misrepresented.
So like we really wanted it to feel like them.
And I think in every one of the covers
it really feels like them.
We shot Pat McGrath in her studio in New York City
and it was just surrounded by
her beautiful creativity and her work.
And then Demi Moore and Tyla,
we shot five covers,
which is a phenomenal feat, right?
We did actually both of those covers
quite late in the day for us.
Both happened in August,
one in LA and one in New York.
And to get five covers out of a cover shoot
is pretty spectacular.
But we wanted, they were both our Global Woman of the year.
We wanted every region,
from Mexico and Germany and the UK and Spain
each to have their own cover.
And I think, I mean
I have never got so many messages in my life about covers.
All of those covers.
I will say the one that people have messaged me
more than any other was Ms. Rachel.
It was like, I think it's at a million likes
on Instagram right now.
And I don't know, it's selection day today.
And there was something like quite mayoral I thought
about Ms. Rachel's cover.
And it was beautiful.
You know, we sat down, we did a great interview with her
and we had her surprise the kids.
But this was her out of her Ms. Rachel gear
and in this beautiful shoot in New York City.
And I think it was really special
for people to see her that way.
That was an amazing cover.
The dress dress was iconic.
We are so excited to get in there
and see everyone receive their awards.
It's gonna be so emotional and we can't wait.
For those of you who can't see what's happening
in the room,
make sure you follow along Glamour's social,
all of Glamour's social-
All along, guys All of glamour.com.
You're gonna see some really interesting
surprise performances tonight.
So it's gonna be special.
We cannot wait. We cannot wait, Samantha.
We love you. We're excited.
We'll see you inside.
Can't wait for the party.
Jason.
Oh my gosh.
I cannot believe I'm saying this right now.
But it is Glamour Woman of the Year
who is a global honoree,
mother of three,
style legend
and true entertainment icon, Demi Moore.
Woo. Hi, how are you?
I am so-
I'm starstruck. You look
out of this world, Demi.
I cannot get over this outfit.
Can you tell us about this?
It's Balenciaga.
Oh.
[Demi] And it felt like an option
that was elegant but comfortable.
I mean, you look perfect
and I have to know, what is the one thought
that you want women all over the world to resonate with?
Like what is your thing
that you want people to carry with them
from this recognition that you're receiving?
Well, I love the theme.
To me, the idea of sisterhood,
it's my community of women friends
is just at this point in my life,
something I feel like I couldn't live without.
It's an anchor and I really just think that, you know,
and what I'll share in my speech is that you know,
when one woman rises, we all rise.
And that this is no longer about a competition,
this is about a collaboration.
So beautiful to me. Beautifully spoken.
You're such an inspiration to us
and we're so excited to see you receive your award.
Yes. Thank you.
Can't wait to see you rock the carpet too.
We can't wait. Woo.
Got it girl.
[Grace Ann] Oh!
Okay guys,
this has been the best night ever,
celebrating the 2025 Glamour Women of the Year.
Grace Ann, do we have any notes?
Any final-
I'm just a little bit starstruck over Demi.
So no notes so far.
This was the perfect vibe check.
And the spirit of sisterhood, Brooks, I have to tell you,
you are the best sister
because you complimented me a million times tonight.
Did Glamour script that or did you really mean it?
I meant it. I meant it.
I'm gonna cry. It was a fill in the blank.
Glamour is here,
bringing all these women together,
including these feisty sisters, so-
I mean, they really are breaking boundaries-
We had the night. Making us get along.
Amen to that. Best night ever,
and thank you for joining us.
Samantha Barry, everyone at Glamour.
This has been a dream come true to be here tonight.
And we can't wait for the show to begin.
Yes, let's go inside.
Right. Cheers.
